Lunar eclipse september 2016 – how to watch live as harvest full moon rises TONIGHT

The penumbral lunar eclipse will coincide with the so-called Harvest Moon and it can be watched live online in all its spectacular glory thanks to the Slooh Community Observatory, which is partnering with the Old Farmer's Almanac to broadcast the event.
The four-hour webcast will include a live stream from telescopes in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and western Australia — all locations where the eclipse will be visible. You can watch the action at Slooh.com until 9.45pm UK time.

Viewers will see the Earth’s shadow darken the moon during the lunar eclipse at nightfall this evening.
