NEW DELHI : Music director and singer Vishal Dadlani, celebrity supporter of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has announced he is quitting all political work after his tweet on Jain religious leader Tarun Sagar triggered a huge outcry.
In a tweet on Saturday, Mr Dadlani had mocked the Jain leader's address to the Haryana assembly on Friday. Faced with a barrage of criticism, he later deleted the tweet. Condemnation of the tweet however only spiralled and he trended on Twitter for hours.
