August 17, 6:20 AM Update: Many aspirants had their sights on the day when NEET result 2016 which got declared. Now that it’s out of the way, medical aspirants can sigh with relief and have something to look forward to. Following the Supreme court’s order, CBSE released the results a day before, and what’s better is that results are good.
In a surprising moveCBSE has declared NEET result 2016 for both Phase 1 (AIPMT) & NEET-2 exam. The details of NEET result is available at aipmt.nic.in (official website). Exclusive report suggests that on a whole, 19,325 students have qualified in the top 15% while 4,09,477 qualified overall in the NEET. The results can be accessed at the CBSE results portal cbseresults.nic.in.
Het Shah from Gujarat got first rank by scoring 685 out of 720 marks. He had also got rank 4 in AIIMS entrance.
The result of NEET 2016 examination for phase 1 (AIPMT) and 2nd phase (NEET 2) will be announced tomorrow on August 17. The countdown has already begun for the medical aspirants as mere 2 days remain for the results to be released. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the organising board behind this National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will put the results online on or before August 17, as Supreme Court has directed.
