Real Madrid v Chelsea friendly draws 105,000 attendance in USA

If proof were needed just how popular soccer is in the United States, one only needs look at the attendance for Real Madrid's pre-season friendly against Chelsea in Michigan on Saturday night.
An astonishing 105,826 people went to Michigan Stadium - known for good reason as the Big House - in Ann Arbor for the International Champions Cup match.
It was the largest ever attendance for a Chelsea match and was the second biggest crowd for a soccer match in US history, behind Manchester United's friendly against Real Madrid at the same venue in 2014, which drew 109,318.
