Virat Kohli became the first player in the history of the Indian Premier League to score 4000 runs. His 113 run knock off 50 balls in the 15 over game against KXIP today saw him cross the 4000 mark.
Kohli was batting with as many as 7 stitches on his hand and very efficiently defeated his injury.
He now has 865 runs in this years IPL. Kohli hit 8 sixes and 12 fours in his mammoth score as RCB posted 211-3 in the rain curtailed match in thier 15 overs.
